Nice campground with a lot of spots, but you dont feel like you are right on top of each other. Staff at the gate were awesome. Would stay again.

The restrooms need upgraded. This was the only negative during our two stays. The layout of the RV sites are excellent, but the restrooms are in terrible shape.

Gunter Hill is such a nice campground. We camp there at least twice a year and I recommend it to anyone, especially people that are new to camping.

Was not sure what to expect, but this is a top notch campground. I did not see a bad site, all concrete pads, long drives. Love the full hookup. My cell phone data stream was att and it was not good, switching to verizon towers, with Patriot Mobile. The campground was pretty full, and the normal turnover with campers. I will be back to this site. Thanks to the Hosts at the front gate, super people.

It took a couple of hours to make the reservation though I was at the campground. A storm had knocked out power and it took several calls to get through to someone as the website would not work. Then there was a lack of signage so locating my site was frustrating.Once situated, the site was nice and quiet.The campground host was very nice and helped as much as he could.

We have always had a great experience at Gunter Hill. Some of the hosts that are there now were there a few years ago when we went the first time. The entire property is always clean and very well maintained. The bath house on our section was clean and well stocked. All of our interactions with the park staff were very pleasant. We look very forward to visiting Gunter Hill again.

Great experiences both times we have stayed here! Friendly staff, clean park, and beautiful scenery. We love the privacy of the spots and the amount of room each one has.

What a beautiful place!
Very quiet, we were steps away from the river. Easy to pull in. Will definitely stay again. We were there in January was great weather also. Not to far from town.

I had some problems making the reservation on the Recreation.gov app, but the gate attendants were very helpful and friendly. We resolved the problem quite satisfactorily. Gunter Hill is quiet. Not much happening here unless you are a boater. Were not boaters, but the quiet is, for us, a major part of the attraction.

Beautiful campground. Sites are huge. Location is lovely. We were in the Antioch loop located right on the river. Super quiet. All sites had full hookup, picnic table, fire ring and grill. Nothing not to like. We will stay here again when we are in the area.

Gunter Hill is one of our all time favorite campgrounds. The campsites are all large and private and beautiful.

Nice campground. The staff were very friendly. 50 amp service on our site had an open ground. No maintenance personnel were available to fix it. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars.

The sites are all great and there are a bunch of them. We stayed in #9 and moved to #44. No complaints about either. Bath house was dated but clean. Laundry only had one working washing machine out of the two available but both dryers were working. We would come back and stay again. Views from the sites off of the lake were great.

Have stayed here many times. Each time is more enjoyable. The hosts are friendly and any issues are addressed immediately. Sites are large,clean and spaced nicely. Will definitely be back.

This was our first time to visit Gunter Hill. We enjoyed a peaceful 8 days in absolutely beautiful surroundings. The staff was extremely friendly. The facilities were very well cleaned and maintained. All roads leading in, and the park itself are pretty much level terrain, not large hills to deal with. We were on Catmoa Loop and every campsite on that loop has power, water, and sewer. Almost every site offers a good amount of privacy, and all offer plenty of space without being crowded too close to your neighbor. We look forward to coming back to visit in the near future.

Stayed there Jan 20 - 28, 2020. Beautiful park. Nice sites. Park is well maintained and clean. Enjoyed our stay. Will stay there again when in the area.
