Nice level site (#99) overlooking the river. We were just passing thru for a night and it was raining, so didn't explore much. Would certainly consider returning on a future trip.

I travelled here with a 35’ 5th wheel, long bed pickup and parked in site #99, an E/W, BI site for $14/night with the America the Beautiful Sr Pass. This site is in the Antioch Loop which is an older section of the park. The roads were asphalt and the site was gravel or a mix of broken asphalt and gravel. The road was narrow, bumpy and uneven in places, but I didn’t have any issues navigating. #99 lines up directly with the road so I was able to turn on the road, get straight and back right in. It took one board to get level. Hookups are at the back of the site so you may need a little longer water hose. The site is plenty long. Lots of room for the rig and truck. It is a spacious site and right on an inlet of the lake in a very pretty setting. Some sites have a bit of a curb at the entrance to channel water away which could be a little awkward to get over (111-114 – uphill exit with soft gravel.) The bathhouse was pretty basic and could use some updating. The laundry room was locked. The Catoma loop looks newer and the road is in better shape. The bathhouse is in better shape as well. It seems more big rig friendly as there were very few sites that I didn’t think I could get into. Some were at an odd angle off the road which could be problematic. I would avoid the PT sites due to lack of privacy/shade. Pay attention to the description of the slope of the sites when booking your reservation, they were pretty spot on. My preferred sites would be: 97-103 along the lake side in the Antioch Loop with 103 being the favorite. In Catoma I’d choose 13, 25, 27, 28, 29, 31, or 40. The park was having issues with the dump station in the Antioch Loop, but were in the process of fixing it as I left. Catoma dump station was fine. For connectivity I had 2 bars LTE with Verizon, 1.4 mbps download speed, no wifi and several OTA channels. It was a lovely park and I would easily stay here again.
