Every time I've been here, if I was camping or just dropping in my kayak at the docks, my experience has been great.

Even though I stayed at this park during one of the busiest times of the year, Memorial Weekend, the park was lovely and surprisingly very quiet. The new section is very nice with poured concrete pads and patios, but I stayed in the old section which is heavily wooded and allowed for much more privacy. I loved the older section of the park, area, but it could do with some road work as it had huge ruts and holes in it in sections. My site would have been picture perfect had the entry to the site not had 8-10 gullies where the rain had washed out the gravel drive. All in all, I truly loved the park and will be staying there again if Im ever in the area again.

Excellent campground but the lake its on desperately needs a clean up day. Of course most lakes have the same problem.
