Just an overnight stay and all was as described. Supersized sites were very nice.

Only stayed one night this time through. We stayed in a pull-through with our 40' Class A with 20' enclosed car hauler (65' overall). Fit nicely without disconnecting. Dan the host was awesome, came out to the RV and greeted us on arrival! Great place, nice and quiet in January. Be wary, tight turn in by the gate house and tight turn leaving!

Camp Hosts were awesome. Very friendly and made sure we knew where we were going. Very nice campsite #38 pull-thru. Lots of shade and in a quiet area.

Love this park, the sites are large, all paved and level. Get trees to give shade and privacy.

Quiet stay. We were there overnight in middle of week. Site was spacious but did have a faint sewer smell all night outside. We were in site 38. There are no signs inside the campground so good luck trying to find your way in or out. Office doesnt provide you a map of campground you have to go online and print one for yourself. Be sure to drop off your tag when you leave or the host will call you to see if youve checked out, I guess they dont leave their office and check the sites after check out time. Overall it was a nice stay, bath house was average. We would stay again.

Gunter Hill is a very nice spacious quiet campground. We ride bikes when camping and there was plenty of roads & trails for bike riding around the campground. Great water views almost everywhere you look.

I was really surprised at how many chigger bites I had around my ankles from sitting at the picnic table. Also disappointed in the fact that the water line broke beside my site one evening and then the next day there was another broken water line somewhere else in the park. So with a day & half of nothing but rain, no water, and chigger bites...ummm, yeah we had a good time.

We loved having full hookups & not having to unhitch our tow dolly with the car in our pull through site. It was available the day before we planned to pull in for the night. Great price & a nice clean, quiet campground.

Gunter Hill is a hidden gem just outside Montgomery Al. This was our third stay there and as always very enjoyable. The park is well maintained and beautiful. We love hiking, walking our dogs, and riding our e-bikes while enjoying the scenery. We stayed in the Catoma Loop section. Every site in this section has full hookup (water, electricity, and sewer). There is another section called the Antioch Loop. There are very beautiful sites there also, but only water and electric hookups (no sewage). I always have booked in the Catoma Loop but would stay in Antioch Loop if Catoma was full. The road through the Antioch Loop needs to be repaved. I hope they are planning to do that someday. Love Gunter Hill Campground!

This is a well kept COE campground. Have stayed here several times and it has always been first class. Keep up the good work.

I always stay at Gunter Hill in the Catoma loop on my way to the Gulf coast. FHU on level concrete pads with plenty of privacy.

The spots are spread out with lots of privacy. The pads are concrete and great for long rigs and toads. The trees provide nice shade and cover, but are also a pain to blow off rig or area. Cell service with t-mobile spotty at times and can be difficult to get satellite for tv. Overall, highly recommend. We keep coming back again and again.

Nice Campground with easy In/Out. Biggest downfall is no wifi and poor Verizon cell service which meant dropped calls and very slow data connections on lte
