Very nice park. Close to Montgomery and Prattville . Nice staff at check in. Wetumpka is not far either.

We began our stay at Gunter Hill within the Antioch section which was horrible. Luckily, a site opened up mid-stay and we moved to Site 65 within the Catoma section and it was wonderful! We walked the Catoma section (Sites 1-75) and I honestly don't think there is a bad site in the entire section. All are concrete and ours was very level and super-easy to back into. We had mostly shade and good access to W/S/E hook-ups. This section is well-manicured and was an overall very pleasant to stay.

The bathrooms could definitely use some cleaning and maintenance. The Antioch section could use some serious upgrades. Roads are rough and lots of uneven sites. Bathroom/shower stall walls were literally falling apart or already gone. The Catoma section is upgraded and nice. I don't think there was a bad site, although both bathhouses need to be seriously cleaned.

What a wonderful, well laid out and pretty park. We were in the Catoma loop, which is by far the best place to stay. If you have a large RV, unless you know where you are going I would stay away from the ANTI loop. The ANTI loop is very rustic, with unlevel sites and bad roads with tight turns. The Cantoma loop contains full hook-ups, level concrete sites (exp 28 & 29). The bathrooms could do with an upgrade. I cant say enough on how nice this park is.

Great park and very friendly staff. I would have given 5 stars but the shower houses were not clean and that is the only reason I gave 4. The facility was outstanding other than that.

Sites were well kept but not to the point where natural feel and look was undone. Dont understand why reservations difficult to make when there were many empty sites?

Clean bathrooms with showers - Excellent site for safely walking, biking, jogging, kids play, etc - Large sites with electricity, water, lantern holder, fire ring & picnic table - If you tent, as we do, make sure to ask for a level site.
