The campground was clean and the bathhouse was clean but a little cool when getting out of the shower . I love the river with the tugboats running up and the river . Volunteers at this campground help make this a good play to camp at . Very helpful and nice to talk to

Camp hosts were friendly, prompt and professional. Check-in was fast and easy. Campground well maintained. Bath house was one of the best weve seen! New and immaculately clean! We stayed at site 11. With a 150 cord this was a great spot for Starlink.

Jennings Ferry is great for a lot of reasons, but on this past trip, I saw just how helpful and understanding the staff can be. I got my reservations mixed up and showed up without a current reservation. As most people who visit this campground knows, Jennings Ferry is currently on restriction for the number of occupied sites, so I was worried as well as embarrassed. Cheryl was working the gate and told me not to worry, that she would search through and find us a place to stay if at all possible. We ended up with a reservation for that night, plus the remaining nights of my visit. The staff definitely make a difference here. She could have just said sorry, you need to figure something out yourself since you made the mistake, but she was genuinely concerned for our experience, not her own convenience. I hope everyone can find someone as understanding as she was with me if they make a mistake.
