Ive never stayed at a campground where the tent pads are actually raked, clean of pinecones and twigs. This campground is immaculate, with shining, clean bathhouses. Our only regret was that we could only stay one night. Many thanks to the camp hosts, who were kind when we arrived late without a reservation. This was the nicest campground we stayed in on our two week trip that covered four states.

Coming off highway is a short but steep hill. Road to the park is OK but could use a freshing up. No host at gate, must call before going to site. Hosts are friendly and kept sites clean. All sites look like they had work done as they all have a nice level concrete pad. Restrooms are also very nice and clean.

The sweet lady called to make sure we were coming. She came to welcome us and she even lead us to our spot. Everything was very clean. Especially the bathroom and shower!!

Gordy and Becky were great campground hosts! We have always enjoyed Jennings Ferry. We were able to get into our last site and thoroughly enjoyed it and the guest we had join us. I did notice that the numbers on the sites have been repainted and stand out better. This looks very nice. The park is always well kept.

I have stayed at Jennings Ferry several times over the past five years or so, the last being November 2023. The campground has always been well maintained, the bathhouse is spotless, and the park hosts over those years always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The spaces are clean and well equipped with sewer, water, electric, picnic table, lantern stand, bbq grill, and fire ring. It's a beautiful spot on the Warrior River so you get the bonus of watching barge traffic and getting out on the water yourself if you have a boat. One head's up. When I was there in November 2023 the sewer system was undergoing an upgrade so sewer was not available at the camp sites. You had to use the dump station at the entrance/exit to the park. I don't know the schedule for restoration of camp site sewer service.

This is a beautiful COE campground! Tons of large trees but none in the way of maneuvering campers. Lots of spots on the river and many more with water views. The camp hosts, Arnold and Gretel, we so nice. Arnold escorted us to our spot and decided he needed to blow it off before we parked. They were keeping the park immaculate! The bathhouse was very clean and had been "refreshed" very nicely. Pull throughs and back-ins. Water and Electric. They put in sewer but were having problems with it but it's scheduled to be repaired. They do have a dump site. Tugs and barges ply the river. We would definitely stay here again. With the Senior Pass it is only $14 per night even with sewer.

Awesome campground with big level sites! Close to Tuscaloosa. Be sure to eat at Dreamland BBQ.

There were many barking dogs. The campers made no efforts to encourage their pets to be quiet! It was also terrible to have to listen to leaf blowers for hours. Sunday afternoon should be a quiet time, but the campground host insisted on blowing leaves at his site and went back to same areas elsewhere to blow leaves! Very rude. Other than these issues, our Halloween weekend was wonderful! Campers made a very exciting environment for the little kids!! Fun!!

Have stayed here several times. Very pretty place on the Black Warrior River. We stayed in the No. 5 pull through campsite which is very roomy and easy to get in and out of.

I hate the back-in sites where you have to use the magnified RIGHT mirror of the tow vehicle to back into the site some sites are much worse than others. GRRRRR.

The park itself was good, but the roadside for miles was trash-strewn and made us question our choice until we arrived at our site. Once there we settled in fine, and enjoyed ourselves at the senior pass price of $14.
