It would be better if you could stop people from booking six months in advance getting the spots on the river then they cancel all but a few days.

Friendly staff and a well kept campground. The only negative is the grass needs to be mowed

We stayed at site 25. The site is very good, right on the water. We had water on 3 sides of the camper. The fishing is good, but only caught one catfish about 3 pounds. Many small sunfish. The restrooms are dated but very clean. The volunteers that work at the campground are very nice and work very hard to keep the campground clean and safe. Everyone I had contact with was very nice and friendly. I would see the staff working often throughout the day. We really enjoyed our stay and cant wait to return.

Love this COE. Full hookups, very well laid out with most sites on the water. Fantastic hosts who do an excellent job of keeping the place looking tip top. Very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at site 25 with our Class A. The view from the camp side was beautiful. The campground is clean and quiet. Walking through the campground, most sites have great water views. I like you can view the site map to pick which site works best for you whether you want water views, easy access to the playground, or if you want to be close (or far) from the restrooms. There's a Walmart about 3 miles away.

We brought our camping club to Foscue Creek for our monthly outing. My husband and I had made a day-trip to check it out, prior to selecting it for our campout, since we'd never been there before. We were so impressed with the facilities - the campsites were well-maintained, the common areas were beautiful and the people working/volunteering there genuinely seemed to enjoy their "jobs". Once we all got there and got set up, I heard nothing but compliments from our campers about how nice this campground was and that we had made a great choice! We will all definitely be back, whether individually or as a group! We camped on site #25 in a 38-ft motorhome and had plenty of room. This site was on the creek inlet (from the river) and had a boat tie-up post, which would be very handy for fishermen or kayakers; I'm hoping that our next trip will be during a time of year that we'll want to bring our kayaks. There's plenty of water to explore in the campground without getting out in the river's channel. For anyone who likes to star-gaze, there was a good bit of open space to check out the sky and not a lot of light infiltration from the campground for a couple of nights during the weekdays; however, once the weekenders got there and strung all their lights, that changed!

Everything is great at Foscue! Wish all the camp hosts were as friendly and helpful as those at Foscue. They are the best! Campsites are always neat and clean.

Hosts and Hostesses were very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the hiking trails and seeing the coast guard cutter at its station on the river. Sites are all quite large and the entire campground was very well maintained. We will be back.

We were amazed at the spaciousness of the sites. This was a full hookup campground. The check in was smooth and we agreed that we could stay on any site at this campground as they were all big and private enough. There is a nice trail for walking or biking and we will definitely use this Corp of Engineer park again.

Nice Campground. We like staying at ACE campgrounds. Full hookup were sweet. Most ACE sites we stayed at this summer did not offer sewer hookup. Easy to back in our spot (#25). Lake front. Only complaint is the heat (not their fault as we camped there Aug 1st, 2019). HOT! Only stayed one night as we were passing through heading home. Did not really see much of the other facilities. Id stay there again and try to spend more than an overnight (and not in August).
