Excellent shady site. All sites are cleaned and prepared before you arrive. Clean bathrooms. I can't say enough good about the hosts and volunteers. They are so friendly and helpful.

The BEST COE we have ever been too, amazing staff, they have the sites clean and call you to let you know your site is ready, Site is racked, no limbs, no leaves, no pine straw, fire pits and grills cleaned out, just absolutely the greatest campground and all volunteers .We recommend they have other COE managers to come here for training

We stayed at site #6 and really enjoyed it. We had a tent and kept our boat tied up on the bank and this site was perfect for that. Site and bathhouse was very clean and the camp host helped us with any questions we had.

This was a great stay. The park was extremely clean and well kept. The bath houses were clean. The volunteers were extremely nice and welcoming. The rangers and staff there do a great job!

Really enjoyed the nice level site with a view of the water and the Nature Trail as a place to walk. We stayed in a 40 foot motorhome.

Campsites are cleaned between occupants, including the fire pits. Quiet, even when campground is full. Full hookups!! +++

The site was very large and well outfitted with grill, table, and fire ring. There was plenty of shade and the site was extremely clean. Staff was exceptionally nice.

This is the nicest state park campground we have ever been to. Everything is so well maintained. You see people working on maintenance all over the campground. The bath houses are exceptional and very clean and up to date. We went to 2 other so called "RV resorts" on this trip and the state park beats them both by a landslide. The people managing the campground were very nice and so willing to help. You could tell they were proud of what they were doing and had every rite to be. We biked around the campground trying to pick out the best spot for when we return. When I got through, I have one in mind and about 15 alternates I would love staying in. The camp spots were so well spaced. You are definitely not on top of each other The spots themselves were HUGE. I saw some you could line up 2 buses and a pontoon boat and still not be in the road. The grills were clean as were the campfire rings every time we came. We stayed here on the way down to LA and on the way back. When you get to your campsite it looks as if no one has stayed there before you. I would recommend this place to anyone. A Great Place to Relax!!!

Fire ants were all around our site. This would've been a great place if we wouldn't have to watch every step we took. Husband had 28 bites.

Web site is difficult to figure out. Check in is 4 PM and check out is 3 PM, therefore checkout is considered a reservation day.
Campground is one of the best ever, and hosts were helpful and pleasant. Looking forward to our next visit.
