On a road trip across the southeast, our camping plan at a nearby state park was a bust, so we needed to find a Plan B. We found this previously unnoticed campground and drove there without reservations. Arriving at 9:30, we were surprised that the camp host was still "on duty". He came to the gate house, helped select a site that met our needs, and even escorted us to it. He was awesome.The bathrooms were clean. The pad was level. There was electricity for our electric blanket (tent camping in January)

Always a great place to camp. Just are excellent and is one of the cleanest camp grounds you will see.

This campground was beautiful. It was quiet, clean, well manicured, large site, lots of trees, and a nice view. The camp hosts were awesome! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful campground! Very clean and maintained. Could use air conditioning or at least a fan in bath houses but that would be my only recommendation. Close to shopping and restaurants but you still feel like you’re miles away from everything. Hosts were very nice and helpful. One of the best Corp of Engineers campgrounds

Beautiful park along the water. Clean restrooms. Friendly and helpful hosts. At 10 pm we had to call to have a snake removed from restroom porch and it was promptly done. Thank you for taking care of a potentially dangerous situation (it was a large copperhead snake). We had to leave a day earlier than planned, but hope to go back. This is one of our favorite COE sites.

A nice, clean campground with excellent hosts. Grounds, bathroom facilities and the like were all clean and cleaned regularly. Would recommend this spot.

Very helpful and courteous staff. Clean spots and clean restrooms. Not too many spots for hammock camping, but if you're the fishing type it's the perfect place.

One of the best COE campgrounds we have seen. Nice they have sewer hookups at most sites. Hosts were super pleasant and kept the place very tidy. We will be back soon.

Stayed on site 11 Very clean and well maintained. We were with friends, they stayed in an adjoining camp site, .Had a great time, Foscue Creek Park is one of the nicest campgrounds you'll find-Any(where

We have camped here several times and it never disappoints. Beautiful park with clean facilities and grounds. It also has nice clean walking trials, and playgrounds. And the attendants we have meet been wonderful.

Just make sure you don't get one of the few non-sewer spots unless you only intend a short stay.

We were on our road trip to San Antonio and I decided that this would be a good place to park for the night. Didn’t know I had to make a reservation on line, I had planned on paying with cash cause we didn’t know exactly where we were going to stop for the night. Once we got that behind us with the help of the very nice couple working the entrance we had a awesome site by the water. Sites are huge and level with concrete pads for your camper. Bathhouse was clean and had plenty of hot water. This is a place where we are going to stop on our return home and hopefully stay more than one night.
