Beautiful and well maintained. Gates are locked at night. Very secure. Big level concrete pads and clean gravel picnic areas.

Fosque Creek Campground is a beautiful park, with spacious sites, most of which are on the lake or river. All of the hosts are really nice, and they do an awesome job keeping the place in tip top shape. This is the only campground that a host has called on the day of arrival to say that our site was ready early. Even though the park was almost full every night, it was very quiet and relaxing. Be sure to go past the park to see the spillway at the dam.

We camped the weekend that they did Halloween in the campground and it was so much fun. People decorated their camp sites and the children in the campground went around trick or treating. Loved it! This campground is very clean including the bathrooms. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Campground is only 5 minutes from a Walmart, other stores, restaurants and gas stations.

On a road trip across the southeast, our camping plan at a nearby state park was a bust, so we needed to find a Plan B. We found this previously unnoticed campground and drove there without reservations. Arriving at 9:30, we were surprised that the camp host was still "on duty". He came to the gate house, helped select a site that met our needs, and even escorted us to it. He was awesome.The bathrooms were clean. The pad was level. There was electricity for our electric blanket (tent camping in January)

This campground was beautiful. It was quiet, clean, well manicured, large site, lots of trees, and a nice view. The camp hosts were awesome! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful campground! Very clean and maintained. Could use air conditioning or at least a fan in bath houses but that would be my only recommendation. Close to shopping and restaurants but you still feel like you’re miles away from everything. Hosts were very nice and helpful. One of the best Corp of Engineers campgrounds

Beautiful park along the water. Clean restrooms. Friendly and helpful hosts. At 10 pm we had to call to have a snake removed from restroom porch and it was promptly done. Thank you for taking care of a potentially dangerous situation (it was a large copperhead snake). We had to leave a day earlier than planned, but hope to go back. This is one of our favorite COE sites.

We have a 44 toyhauler, 136 tall with a Ford 450 long bed. Stayed in spot 11. Lots of spots to get into easily. Trees were trimmed, so no low hanging branches. This park is the Gold Standard for how to run an rv park. We have stayed here several times, usually while traveling thru. The camp hosts are unbelievably helpful, even bringing us a list of the longer spots for future stays. If needed, they will even help you back into your spot. Our spot was clean, park is clean, restrooms are cleanest Ive ever seen. It shows people care. Only negative, wish we could have stayed longer, Spring is beautiful here.

Received a call telling me that my site was ready for check-in.Camp host was friendly at check-in and check out.Gravel pads were exceptionally clean; including all ash from fire rings removed at all sites that I saw.

After arriving at midday, we realized that wed have to wait to have our site. The hosts offered us another site that was available ... that site was next to the original location and was better!

The best COE parks that we have stayed at. Great hosts and the park is well maintained. Bathrooms are clean. Campsites are clean, level, and we'll spaced.

When we visited the river was a flood stage so our site was close to the water. No problem. Nice showers, and very nice host. Highly recommend.

Very helpful and courteous staff. Clean spots and clean restrooms. Not too many spots for hammock camping, but if you're the fishing type it's the perfect place.

One of the best COE campgrounds we have seen. Nice they have sewer hookups at most sites. Hosts were super pleasant and kept the place very tidy. We will be back soon.
