Great campground. All of the sites were very good. Bathrooms could use a little redoing Hosts were very helpful!

We have stayed at Prairie Creek Campground several times and really like the park. We had two incidents during our visit this time. First, the mens bathroom on the River side was out of toilet paper for two days. Not a big deal, I just took mine. When I saw the cleaning person I let her know. She let me know the entrance building keeps some which is good to know for future stays. The second incident was with one of the camp workers smoking marijuana. It had been a couple of years since we had visited Prairie Creek and noticed two campers parked behind the old closed bath house. The man that was smoking the marijuana was staying in one of those.

great camp site but needs trees trimmed when backing trailer in some lots have low limbs hanging in the way

There are several paved roads through what looks like an old day use area. They are blocked off to traffic. If the roads were cleared of downed trees and trash they would make nice walk run and bike trails.
RV area clean, well groomed. Personal was nice and even had gifts for the kids.
Unfortunately the fish cleanings station was closed. Made for unsanitary conditions.
Look forward to staying again.

We were greeted by the campground host in his Lets Go Brandon t shirt. Some RV sites are very close (less than 10 feet) from each other. Facilities clean.The area is surrounded by hunting grounds, we heard several rounds of shots while we were staying. Woke to faint smell of paper mill in the campground.Sites at the end closest to camping have 2 large streetlights to light parking for tent campers. These lights stayed on all night and were quite bright.

Nice place. Make sure you bring what you need. Nothing close by if you need anything. Wish they had sewage at sites.

Very pleasant site with a nice view. Cement level pads, Good water, 50 amps service. Our 31 ft Airstream and Truck fit our back in spot. We were lucky we got an overnight stay. We were sorry we could not stay a couple of days. Bring your Bug spray for evenings!

Camped in site 40. Awesome site, right on the Alabama river. Camp site clean, very well maintained. Quiet, beautiful setting.

It was a busy weekend but the campsites were spacious and well maintained. Staff was courteous and helpful.

Site was clean, all available utilities were fully functional, and bath house clean and warm. The Gate keeper, Jim, was on top of things, proficient and courteous. He patrolled the site at random and always spoke and asked if all was well. We will be back and will refer/bring fellow campers. Thank you!
