Nice smaller campground with cement pads for RVs. Bathroom and showers are clean but a bit dated. Not far from Panama City Beach and all it has to offer. Have camped here 2x and definitely will again.

We loved this campground! Kinda small overall, but the sites are clean, level, and HUGE. Its very well kept, the hosts were friendly and helpful and its quiet.The only downside if there is any, is that it is so far away from everything, so ya gotta be prepared before you go. On the other hand, it is so far away from everything that it makes it a nice getaway. Again, we loved it and intend to return soon.

Beautiful quiet place along the river and lake. Has a great playground for the kids and some pretty awesome sun sets and sun rises. Just wish it had a sewer hookup. We will be coming back in the near future.

Prairie Creek was very nice it has large parking pads and very clean. This was our first stay at this campground and we will be back. Just a couple of days there was a nice get away from the house.

Gorgeous park!! We really enjoyed our weekend there. We’ll definitely will be going back. There are some very pretty sites there. Gorgeous park and friendly people!!

Great location on the river. Sites are a little cramped, might be better on the backside. Bathrooms and sites were clean and we'll maintained.

Prairie Creek in Lowndesboro, AL was wonderful! We had a very nice 2 night stay. Going in February, the campground was not full at all. We had lots of privacy. The sites are all nice, long, level and not jammed up right next to each other. Most all the sites were on the water, either the Alabama River or the "lake" side. Most all sites would be very nice to stay in. We stayed in 41. This site would make a good buddy site with 40. Our friends had to cancel at last moment! The hosts and all the campers we talked to were very nice. The entrance is beautiful and the views of the water are also beautiful! They had a couple of observation decks on the water that were nice too. The only thing that I could say for improvement is to have less bright street lights. There are not a lot of them but the ones back by the tent parking are brighter than they need to be! I will go back and thoroughly enjoyed camping there!
