I got lucky in many ways, the view from this spot at sunrise is just awesome. The camp area is clean, and hosts were very friendly. Be sure to have lunch one day at the Silo. Lots of attractions, local, or not far down the road, like the FT Rucker Aviation Museum, Abbeville downtown, and Eufaula. My wifi TV stream was pretty good, plenty of over the air channels. Very dog friendly. Other campers very friendly, plenty of space for privacy. Thanks for another excellent USACE campground.

Beautiful campground with an absolutely unbeatable location and a friendly, helpful staff. I only have two negative comments. Some of the campsites (including site 5 which we used) need their parking pads reworked to make them a bit wider and to repair crumbling edges. Although the restrooms were conveniently located and generally clean, they could use some cobweb removal, cleaning of the above the floor walls and ceilings and replacement of virtually useless mirrors above the sinks.

Campground has lots of nice spots along the lake. Although I like full-hookups and stayed in the Shady Loop that had them, next time I would stay in the w/e loops. The FH loop sites are close together and can't access the lake. Also the ants were terrible in early April. Lots to do in the area. Visited the dam, nearby Abbeville.

Beautiful campground, clean facilities, nice roads to ride bikes - just wish we had brought our fishing boat (we will next time)!

It's a lovely park. There's even full hook -up sites which is rare at Army Corp campgrounds.

But there is poison ivy so if someone is sensitive, I can't recommend until the problem is resolved.

We were bothered so much by the staff there that we ended up leaving and going to the State Park where they let you enjoy your camping stay. This was by far our worst camping experience ever. We will never go back here. This was also our first time camping at a Recreation.gov park so it has me questioning if they are all this bad. They definitely need to have a major conversation with the staff.

Very nice place. We enjoyed our stay and will go back. The only issue is that I didn’t find any good places to fish from the bank, but I’ll have another look on my next visit.

Great campground with nice sits and good fishing. Can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful sunrises over the lake. Friendly and helpful camp hosts. Laundry room was small but clean and machines worked. The hiking trails need grading and clearing. They’re poorly marked, very rough, and fallen trees are blocking some of the trails.
