Camping and facilities were great. They deserve 5 stars. Only reason for 4 stars is there is only 2 restroom facilities/bath houses for entire campground. Maybe put a restroom on each loop????? Doesnt have to have showers being that there is two bath houses. Otherwise, clean campground. Beautiful area. Spacious campsites. Will definitely stay again

Booked for one week, and extended to two due to our site being what I considered one of the best. Although we weren't in the FH loop, our site was in Pirates Cove, and had water on two sides and plenty of privacy with no site to our back. Sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. Access to the lake for kayak right at site. Clean bath houses with laundry. The best of the best in USACE campgrounds. Staff was awesome, as usual.

Very quiet peaceful place to camp..park attendants were very pleasant. Weekdays were great...but from Friday night untill Sunday...some people that had a lot of kids [ let me run wild] bath house was a mess..dirt all over floors .pine straw..paper ..showers had paper wrappers and dirt all over the floor...it's NOT the camp hosts fault. They do the best they can...we also smelled Marijuana that came from. Where these people were staying..the wind was blowing from that direction toward us..do we had to smell it... we got a call Thursday from Corp. Of engineers asking if we would be willing to leave a day early so a dead tree beside our lot could be cut down..we did leave early...yet from chatting with people who came to that lot 2 days after we left...no tree had been taken down. Yet....no clue why....

Hardridge Creek is our favorite campground and this experience was no different from past times.

Our Favorite place to camp. Beautiful scenery. Bath-houses are clean. Brent Vedder & Denise Vedder and Rick & Yom are excellent at working the Office and patrolling the campgrounds. We feel safe because of them and the Park Rangers.
Keep a diligent lookout for snakes and alligators because this is their home and we are the visitors. Keep your eyes wide open and you might see chipmunks, squirrels, and Deer and so many of God's beautiful creatures!! Also must mention the variety of birds.
Since our first experience of this campground, no other compares to the relaxation we have here...we are hooked on Hardridge Creek Campground. No other can compare and that's including the beach.
We consider this campground as our home away from home. Fellow campers become friends. Love thy Neighbor is the feel when we are here.

Quiet and peaceful COE campground on Lake Eufala. Our site was on Pirates Cove loop, right on the lake. We had water views from both sides of the site, and thick forest on a third side. We arrived after a rain storm and the site had not been cleaned since the last campers, but it only took a few minutes for us to tidy up. Our loop did not have a bathhouse but is between the 2 other ones, 4 minutes walk so not a big deal. Bathhouse was spotless with hot showers and great water pressure. There are more birds than we can count and a beautiful variety of trees and plants. Phone service is adequate for calls and sending pics but tv antenna could not pick up any OTA stations, and that’s ok. We sat out by the campfire and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Overall a great place!
