We were on Site 17, concrete pad and a spacious area. There is a steep slope to the water and difficult to negotiate but site 15 has steps leading down to the water our Verizon cell service was poor. 1-2 bars at best. The Volunteers are friendly and very accommodating. They keep the campground very clean and neat, blowing leaves and raking the site before each arrival.

Huge site with a (steep) trail down to the water right behind the pad! Concrete level sites make for easy leveling. Gorgeous views, quiet, and clean.

pretty, well maintained park with spacious sites, paved pads and gravel fire ring areas. Our site was 17 and it had trees and a nice view of the lake. Bath house was immaculate. Hosts were very nice and helpful. Its a short drive to Demopolis but there is everything there you would need. We would definitely go back

First trip to Forkland and it was excellent. The kids had a great time fishing, riding, playing on the playgrounds, etc. the place was immaculate, clean bath houses, camp hosts even made rounds with a blower cleaning off the roadway. I did not know what to expect but we were very impressed with the experience from check-in to check-out.

Camp hosts are always nice, friendly & helpful. Tornado watch occurred during our stay, camp host quickly contacted/advised us to shelter in bathhouse facility until weather conditions were clear. This campground is always neat & clean, campsites always cleaned off prior to our arrival. This is one of our favorite COE campgrounds, secluded and quiet. The hiking trail needs some attention - although the recent bridge is nice and welcome, the paths need to be cleared of tree limbs to enjoy a dedicated pathway.

It’s a beautiful campground. Most sites are on the water. Lots of sites have steps or paths down from their pad to the water. Water and electric hookups were good. No sewer hookups but we knew that. Bathhouses were very clean and workers were helpful. There is a beautiful nature trail in the woods that goes along the water too. We hope to go back sometime.

We spent 2 very pleasant nights. The lots are well spaced and level. The area is level as well and it was very nice for walking and walking our dogs. My only slight criticism is that access to the water is limited to the boat launch.

Nice Campground, however.... Arrived at Campground with no one to check us in at Registration Office. Called the phone number three times with no results. Pulled into campground and found a lady standing by the road at the first campsite. When I told her I had called the number listed three times, her reply was they had bad reception at that location. Once on site, I found my cell service to be fine (could have been different service provider). Also, spent the rest of the evening trying to get a satellite signal. Finally, the next morning and after 150 feet of cable, I climbed down an embankment to the water's edge and got service. The walking trail was covered in leaves and debris and you couldn't tell where the gravel path meandered. Overall, it was a typical well kept Corp of Engineer campsite, emphasis on SITE. As mentioned, other issues dropped my rating. Other Corp of Engineers Parks in the area (Foscue Creek and Jennings Ferry) are more suitable for my expectations.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
