Needing a stop for the night, we reserved site 7 at Forkland CG a couple hours before we arrived. We called a # posted on the office window and the hosts arrived soon. They were nice and friendly and escorted us to our site. We slept the night and found the next morning that several of the sites had full hookups, which ours didn’t. No matter. CG was very clean, all the sites backed to water(lake) and all looked level. Bath house was clean and hot water was plentiful. Most sites had stairways to the lake. We had to leave the next day but I wished to have stayed for the peace and quiet. We certainly would stay there again. We stayed with our 27’ travel trailer but I didn’t notice any sites that couldn’t handle a large 5th wheel or a coach.

Beautiful location, BIG sites, shade. We were late arriving. A+ host led us to our site, made sure we were settled in and answered our questions. Safe steps down to palm tree lined river where you can bank fish. We plan to go back regularly! Fork land is now #1 on our COE campground list.

We have camped at Forkland many times. We like the peace and quiet, large waterfront sites. Campground and bath house always clean. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Forkland is one of our favorite campgrounds. The campground is secluded in the woods, but only two miles to Dollar General, twelve miles to Demopolis, a town of about 8000 people with several restaurants and shopping.

The campsite was very spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The access to the river was perfect. The camp hosts were exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
