This was a quiet get away park that we were blessed to find when getting out of the way of Hurricane Helene. If you like kayaking, fishing, boating and a friendly staff, this is the place. Its located on a branch of a river on both sides. There are steps at some higher sites to walk down to the water. There were two playgrounds, clean bathhouses and great hosts. This park is located in the middle of some small AL towns. Our host told us about a good restaurant in Eutaw Al, 15 minutes away and it was great.

Forkland is one of our most favorite places to stay. We love it there. It is so beautiful and clean facilities, great showers and parking spots.

Always a great park to visit. Level concrete pads with electric and water, most with a beautiful river view. Bathrooms are very clean. Camp hosts, especially Tom & Ginny make you feel very welcome. Enjoyable stay any time of year!

We love the campground and stay 2 times a year. The new hiking trail is a great way to get some exercise.

We enjoyed our stay, very peaceful and quiet. The campground is very well maintained. The host was very nice and helpful.

We really enjoy staying at the Corp of Engineers campgrounds. Everyone is friendly and the grounds are nice.

Camp hosts doing excellent jobs to keep grounds and bathrooms clean. Glad to see new hiking trails being created and existing ones reopened. Great job ranger Ben .

The park hosr Gary and Shar were excellent. They are very helpful and will be there when you need them. You can count on them for sure.

I love this campground. The only suggestions I have are (1) the steps down to the water from the campsites are in very poor condition, they need repairs badly someone will hurt themselves on them. (2) there are several dead trees that need to be cut down before they fall and either kill or hurt someone very badly.
