Weve been here often. The camp hosts and personnel have always been excellent as have the facilities. It is a very beautiful and very nicely maintained park.

Great COE campground. It was quiet and peaceful and right on the banks of the Tombigbee river. Very clean and well kept.

My husband, son, and our daughter-in-law spent one night at Service last year on our way home from vacation and we all loved it so much that we decided to visit again this year. It is a beautiful park and We loved that it is so clean and well maintained. It is quiet and peaceful and we were quite content to spend the day sitting around watching the barges on the river. The camp hosts were all great and we loved visiting with them and their fur babies. We will be back.

This park DID NOT DISAPPOINT! First time here based on reading prior comments/reviews. Sites along river are spacious and level. Park is clean and trails are perfect for easy going folks walking our dogs. Showers and bath house very clean and well kept. Camp hosts Gail and husband were great! We will be back. We loved this park!!! Quiet and peaceful tranquility prevail.

Service Park is a very nice park. Peaceful and well maintained. The hosts were very friendly. Our spot was fairly level. I stayed in a pull-through along the river and watched the occasional yachts and tugboats as they pass by. The park restrooms were very well maintained, but not climate controlled. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Service was an excellent campground from the hostesses (Reba), to the views, to the cleanliness of the campground and facilities! This will definitely stay as one of our favorites

The State Service Park on the Tombiggbee river at Coffeeville AL is a great place to camp. We pulled our camper over there and setup on Site 8. It has a great view of the river and is relatively flat to setup on. It is across the street from the public restrooms and showers. Dan and Margaret Hines (host) were very helpful. I needed two 1/2” pvc caps as I forgot to plug my lines after draining the camper in the winter. They came up with parts for me to use until the hardware store opened up the next day.

The canal is RIGHT THERE, which is amazing as long as you set your expectation of the barges passing by and can find joy in that fun experience.
Bathrooms are clean. Staff was fantastic. Cell signal (verizon) was solid.

This is very nice campground, good place to relax. Camp sites are spread out enough for some privacy but close enough to make some new friends. The camp hosts were great, very clean grounds, well taken care of. Love sitting out by the river and watching the barge tugboats, and others headed to the lock & dam. Ready to go back.

The park has four Camp Hosts so someone is on duty at all times. The sites are kept very clean. Bathrooms are cleaned several times per day and are some of the cleanest bathrooms/showers we have seen! Hosts are very friendly and accommodating. One host brought firewood to our sit on the first day - at no charge!Several sites are pull throughs and each of them has a full view of the Tombigby River. All sites have at least some shade and some have full shade. There isn't a bad site in the park. It was awesome to watch the freight barges cruise down river to the locks! We highly recommend staying at Service Park - we will be back.

We camped at Service Campground in Alabama in our 5th wheel. We were just passing through so didn't get to spend a lot of time in the park. The park & it's facilities were spotless and the campground host, Paula, and her husband? were extremely helpful and friendly.
I've found that COE campgrounds where we have stayed in the past to be clean & quiet.

As we approached this camp ground we were questioning our decision to stay here . But as we turned into the park we found an undiscovered gem. This park is amazing and the staff treat you like family. The site I was at was fun right on the banks of the river. The camp grounds are kept immaculately clean and well maintained. If you want a clean quite and a relaxing camp ground this is your place. We will 1000% return!
