This park is just beautiful !! It's run by the Corps of Engineers who have made so many wonderful campgrounds around lakes in the USA. We camped right on Lake Eufaula, waterviews out all our windows. The staff were very accommodating to our needs, we got delayed a day and then stayed 2 extra days. It's a great location for day trips, 17 miles south to Abbyville and north to Eufaula. If you like fishing it's got it all, boat ramps and miles of lake.

The only complaint I have is that the gnats were terrible. I would suggest anyone going this time of year should buy nets for your head. It will make your stay more enjoyable.

We always enjoy our stay at White Oak Creek campground. The sites are large with concrete pads, fire pits, picnic tables, grills, a lantern pole and lots of shade. Lake Eufaula is beautiful and the views from the campsites are phenomenal. Even though the bathhouses are a little dated they are more than adequate. The dump station is convenient and easy to get to. We have a large rig (40 ft) and have no issues maneuvering into the back-in sites. The only drawback is we have to leave.

White Oak Creek USACE campground is one of the finest of ALL campgrounds we've visited! So many of the sites are right on the water so the views are wonderful. Every site is laid out just the way one would want it with the pads LEVEL cement! The bathrooms are first rate, although some of them have a single changing area for both showers that is a little odd. We were there on a Saturday night the last weekend in February and were shocked at how few people were taking advantage of this place.

My site had a great view of the lake. Actually most of the sites have lake views. My only complaint is that the sites are EXTREMELY close with nothing between for any privacy. The orientation of the sites also made it difficult to back into - because once you pull forward and look back toward your site, you see five drives and its hard to determine which is yours! With a spotter, that may not be an issue, but as a solo, it certainly was. The park was only sparsely populated while I was there so it worked fine. However, this is not a park I would choose in the summer months. One other item worth mentioning is that the Hosts were extremely friendly, courteous, and nice.

Park itself is fabulous. One gate attendant ruined the entire vacation. Riding his loud golf cart thru park early morning like 630 am and 1030 pm. He's rude as he'll long haired nasty looking and needs a bath. Other attendants so nice. You go there for peace and quiet to relax. Not this trip. Left 2 days early

Well-maintained, with all roads easy to navigate, trees and limbs kept trimmed. Lake-side sites are right there, on the water, with level ground and great views. Lots of the water's edge allows people to wade into the shallow water, and fishing is good. Two things would improve the park; First, they planted trees and bushes between sites and the lake, which will inhibit views as these things grow up.Secondly, if check-in is at 3PM, consider allowing check-in earlier if there are a dozen vehicles in line, because every other park we've been to allows people into the CG if the site is empty.
