Spacious sites, right on the lake. One issue I find which could be a safety concern. There was a tree, about 30 ft tall next to my trailer that was dead and rotted. During the night in high winds limbs and chunks of it would rain down on my trailer. I think maintenance should take a look at all the trees at each site and remove the dead ones. Trees falling over, especially dead ones are not uncommon. If one were to hit a trailer in the middle of the night could have severe consequences.

Camp Host were very nice and the lots were beautiful - the weather was cold and rainy except for the day we left. The weather isn’t controlled by the Park and we still had a great time.

Nice spacious campground. Sites are not on top of each other. Waterside campsites have nice view.

We loved our stay at this park! Our timing was a bit bad for our site (37), as it has a choke cherry tree which was full of ripe berries raining down on EVERYTHING and birds were all over our site going after them. Every day we had to clean bird berry doodoo off our chairs and the table. It was a mess. So pick that site only when it’s in other seasons. Bathrooms are spotless. Laundry costs are very reasonable. Hosts are cordial. Sunsets spectacular. The locals are so very friendly and hospitable. We will be back!

Would rate Excellent if had sewer or at least grey tank drain. Will definitely return! Unusual to find at COEs, but know 2 other campgrounds on Lake Eufaula have sewer sites.

Park is great. Not being able to stay without going thru Recreation .Gov is the Pits. I wanted to go a day early, but when I arrived, I had to get on the phone in the parking lot and make a reservation for that night. In the past they had sites that were walk in (first come first serve). Somewhere there was a mix up and I had to leave a day earlier than we had planned. I was not going thru the Recreation.Gov thing again, so we went home early. I see this a problem for the people as well as for the park. What are the People going to do when on the road, see the sign, drive to the park and find out they have to make a reservation. Some do not have a phone or computer to make a reservation with them. I don't like the new deal. The park should be able to offer sites if available. You need a walk in and a reserved section. Else you will have unnecessary empty spots. I know some of the attendants like it because they don't have to work as hard with the complete reservation deal,
