We only stayed one night, while passing through, but would love to come back again! Sites were really close together, but most were on the water, with easy access from our site. Not many campers in my loop, which made the experience much nicer. I imagine that it is quite busy in the summer, which would be a detractor for me. The bathrooms were heated, which was great, and a sign said there was a free washer and dryer for campers use, but I didnt look in to see them. I also didnt use the shower, so no comment. The man at the front check-in hut was very friendly and accommodating, despite us arriving only a few minutes before closing, when they lock the gates. We forgot to account for central time zone. Sites were concrete pads with gravel and mostly level. Pleasant experience.

One of our favorite COE parks!

Site improvements are wonderful! We loved the sand at water edge! Host was very nice! The only complaint would be that site 78 could accommodate an extra parking space if the site sign were moved a little. Its a beautiful site just wish it had a small parking space. We love White Oak! We have stayed at this campground since our kids were young! Life and parents have kept us away the past 15 years. So glad to be back! We have two more reservations this year!

Rick the camp host started our stay with a smile. The campsite, bath house was clean. We was able to have a campfire, roasting marshmallows and hotdogs. We could walk out of camper straight to the lake for morning coffee and fish if we wanted to. We enjoyed our stay totally

There are 2 nice dog parks and we love to take advantage of them while there...the weeds were knee high. We were only there until Weds morning and were told it should be mowed that week...it was Weds morning as we were leaving

I was only disappointed in how messy the campsite was. All kinds of junk, cigarette butts, trash an soda cans in the fire rings. Unravked site, and a VERY RUDE man at the gate. Could not be bothered to hardly answer a question, we felt we were bothering him.

The site was very easy to back into. Great spot on the water to sit on my back deck and enjoy coffee and the sights of people enjoying the lake. Cell phone reception was good and tv antenna reception was good as well. We had a nice time exploring the lake by boat. The campground rangers are serious about the rules which keep the campground safe and clean for all to enjoy. Lots of kids running and playing in the water and out. The shower house was very nice and clean. I loved the checkout time. Later than I have ever seen, allows you time to pack up without a panic. This is the first ACOE park I have stayed at, great experience.

Beautiful place to camp. Most sites are on the water. Good places to eat and shop. Been camping here for 30 years and come back every year.

Very pretty forest in the area. Nice big sites. Many right on the water. Bathrooms were old, but, seemed clean. Lots of boat traffic out front. Some fertilizer smell with wind direction from farms nearby. Overall, very nice and well kept up Campground.

We had a nice thanksgiving at this camp ground. It was nice, super friendly staff when you come and go, town is also close for a grocery run. The spaces are not too badly spaced but the spot we got (76) was pretty close to the others. Great place if you are able to bring your boat. People fished but didnt notice anyone catching any. Nice area to ride bikes. Only issues we had was we like to have sewer hookup but this location doesnt. Also, we had a lake side spot and the staff came and told us we cant have our dog on the beach at all. They yet, I saw plenty of people walking their dog up and down the beach. There was also a dog with no collar or leash roaming all through camp sites. Staff did nothing about that! Would I go there again? Only if there was no availability somewhere else. This would not be on my top 10 places to stay!
