The grass needed to be cut. It was up to our knees when walking to the water. The ants were horrible. The trees need to be cut back some of the limbs hang so low they are on the campers.

Campground is very nice with concrete pads, fire rings, and grills for every site. Bath houses are clean and heated, Most sites are water front with others having a view of the lake. Staff was very friendly. I will return next spring.

Clean. Open Roomy sites.. Washer and dryer at showers. Good fishing.. Nearby sites to see: Shorter Mansion$5.00, The Donut King, Abbeville (Home of Mr. Yellowood), Hugging Molly Restaurant, Rodeos.

Beautiful quiet campground with most of the sites having lake view and many lake front sites. It is convenient to get to stores within a few minutes. They also have a nice dog park.

The arrival and checkin procedure was unorthodox, to say the least, and poorly run to be honest. The folks at the gate were both slow and didn't seem to have a good system to check folks in to the site. We had to know our site number, which is fine, but it doesn't make sense why they couldn't look us up by name.The campsite flooded during some torrential rains that only lasted about 2 hours. We ended up in ankle-deep water, had a flooded fire pit that became unusable for the rest of the trip, and soggy shoes. It's the outdoors, so whatever, but I don't recommend sites 42 or 43 if it rains.Location was really good. Right on the lake, great views. Other than the flooding, the site was really good as well. Very well maintained and convenient to the bath house.

Easy to reserve sites online. Check in process is easy and staff very helpful. I reported a small leak at faucet and it was repaired on a Sunday. Well definitely come back!
