We stayed in site #34, it was fair but somewhat soggy off the gravel. We were camping with family who stayed in site #33. Site 33 was hard to back into and had a large pine tree that didnt allow the awning to be used on their camper. Another tree was directly behind the camper and would not allow the slide to extend completely. Site 33 should be designated for tent camping only. Camp hosts could be more welcoming as well.

Went spent just shy of 2 weeks and enjoyed a spacious waterfront lot with mature shade trees. Facilities in excellent shape and we enjoyed perfect weather. And as always, a friendly and courteous staff and hosts. Looking forward to returning in the near future.

Lay out of the park and site space was excellent. We have stayed at many sites throughout the US and yours is one of the best. Thanks,Howard and Deborah

Great campground, wonderful views, and polite registration staff. We got rained out, so didn't get to really experience the full amenities.

We have camped with our family (and have brought many other families) at this park since we were married 25 years ago. We have always loved our time and have had such gracious hosts. Because of our love of the lake, we recently bought a piece of property and were clearing the land - so staying at White Oak while we were working. We were literally never at the campground but to sleep. One of the reasons we love to camp, is being outside. We cook and do our dishes using the outside kitchen, enjoying the view. We received a ticket for $150 from the ranger for dumping our dishwater on the ground. We did not know that we could not do this - and wonder how our tent camper friends are expected to enjoy their time without washing dishes. The park needs designated grey water areas like other parks that we enjoy if these are the expectations. We are very disappointed in how we were treated - the park has always been a great representation of the heart of Alabama - which we love.
