Went in July. Solid area, glad to be find a spot near to Acadia. Definitely go on the sunrise hike, and explore as much as you can! Beautiful area. This campground was ok. The sites are quite close to one another (at least the hike-in ones), maybe 20 feet between the edge of ours and our neighbors, so you can see and hear everything that any nearby campsite is doing. The major downside we experienced were the mosquitos, which were unbearable. Near dinner time, even with repellent, and long sleeves and tights on, we were being eaten alive! we left the campsite and drove to the nearby beach to make dinner instead, which was much much better. The site itself is pretty solid. Fire pit, picnic table, and fair bit of soft and flat room for tents. Mosquitos made it an unpleasant stay though.
