We rented van. Site was level and easy access to the bathroom and water. We made dinner at seawall picnic area each night and set up a table on the rocks. It was great. Wed do it again.

We had a great 2 night stay in Seawall campground in Acadia National Park. Our site was a good size and in good order. The park is absolutely stunning. Great biking on the Carriage Trails and lots of scenic hikes to do. The weather cooperated for us as well. Next time I'll try to grab a spot in the Backwoods Campground. It's much closer to a lot of the places we wanted to go.

Camping was fine. Of course the only issue was the tight maneuvering required to get into your site due to the small roads and trees. But that comes with being out in nature.

This campground was wonderful - the setting, the campsites, the amenities - it was all just perfect in our opinion. Every morning I took a long walk and always was able to spot a deer (or two or three). At night the dark sky provided ample opportunities to star gaze. Nearby is the Seawall picnic area which is a lovely spot to take your breakfast, lunch or dinner and have a premium ocean view. We visited the Seal Cove Auto Museum and thoroughly enjoyed not only the fine examples of early autos and motorcycles but the very informative displays regarding the womens suffrage movement. We hiked the Ship Harbor trail which offered everything from pine forests to ocean ledges. Dinner from Charlottes Legendary Lobster Pound did not disappoint. Highly recommend you explore this side of Acadia.
