Beautiful campground! We loved the seclusion of the camp sites from the parking areas. Only a short walk from the car to our tent camp site in the D loop. Lovely walking to the ocean from the camp site in 15 minutes. Bathrooms were clean and maintained, despite the lack of showers.

The campsite was pristine considering how many people use it. The ranger was extremely helpful with information to get around. And I appreciate the beauty of the west side of the island now that I have spent some time there. There was terrific tide pooling with the kids at Wonderland. Acadia mountain had some amazing updrafts that the bald eagles were using. And a lesser visited cobblestone beach close to Otter Point (east side) was a beautiful discovery!

Cars are separated from camping area and that is really nice. Bathroom is clean. All was well maintained. People were respectful
