I wish we had been more prepared for the mosquitoes. The location was great for camping and staying put and the vibe was respectable and quiet- but is not the best home base for doing tourist stuff. It was ~30 mins drive through the island to get to most locations. The campsite bathrooms etc were very clean and accommodating but I wish I wouldve researched ahead of time that the only showers were paid (with quarters!) at a store up the road.

The campground is spacious and quiet. You have the opportunity to visit with your neighbours or just stay to yourself. There were many hiking trails and ocean views for all to enjoy. It is too bad the seawall itself is closed to automobile traffic, but mother nature let's us enjoy it on foot. There was much wildlife such as deer, squirrels , eagles and seagulls to enjoy as well.

Sea wall campground was the perfect place for us to stay on our bucket list Acadia vacation! It was well kept, they have nice sites and we could run our generator if needed in the evening to charge back up. We had beautiful space around us and the staff were kind. We also loved the picnic area across the road where we could watch the tide come in or see the sunset! We will definitely recommend seawall to our friends and hope to come back again!

Great campsite with clean restrooms. Close to light house, a must see place in Acadia. Walkable to the sea.

A beautiful fall color tour trip. The bus line was a major treat. We were in a class A RV and were able to go everywhere we wanted on the island for $0 plus a tip for the driver :) The camp ground was great. Big sites with nice fire place with grate for cooking. Bring local wood because gathering is prohibited and there is none at the gate house.

Not a level site, No water available on sites, No electric on sites, and generator timing was short. Close to scenic park was the only saving grace.

Beautiful space and off the beaten path. Very calm area with many nice neighbors in the park. Very close to the remainder of Acadia as well as Bar Harbor. Wonderful trip
