It was easy to pick a site online (B20) and view it in advance. (The website countdown clock does make reserving a little nerve wracking.) Unlike the rv sites the tent sites were much more private, which is great. The site was free of debris. Tap water was next to the site and bathroom a few sites away. There was also a dumpster on the way to the bathroom. Near the bathroom was a place to wash dishes so animals wouldnt be attracted to dish water thrown out in or near campsites. Smart. The ranger at the gate and other workers were friendly and very helpful. The location of this campground is across the street from the natural sea wall where there is a big picnic area with ocean views. During the night could hear the distant ocean from our site as well as buoy bells and some fog horns. Loved that! There is a camping store and funky seafood eatery nearby, both were fun to visit. I came with my small dog and he had a great time camping and walking around our loop. I will definitely stay here again! Thank you!

What a nice campground! super peaceful and beautiful places to visit. Away from the world indeed! super clean bathrooms, the campsite was excellent, well level and clean.

Beautiful campgrounds. Amazing to have the water lull you to sleep ever evening, with easy access to a gorgeous sunrise, sunset, and stargazing. Park rangers were also helpful and friendly, and gave clear instructions for check-in and check- out.

We had some troubles finding the campground since we had no cell service, but once we were there it was a great experience! The rangers/park workers were very helpful! The bathroom facilities were nice and very accessible. It is a beautiful area with great access to the rest of the area and Acadia National Park. There was lots of firewood in the area, and we got food to-go from Charlotte's legendary lobster pound nearby!
