Seawall campground is a very nice, well kept campground. Water and restrooms were close to all sites. The restrooms were always clean. It seemed most campsites had privacy and mine, A31, was pretty private. Some of the campsites can be a little harder to back a trailer into. I liked that none of the campsites were really close to each other, were shady and a decent size. "A" loop was an easy walk to the ocean. Acadia Park is pretty spread out but this was a nice location. Stop at Southwest Harbor, which isn't far, because there's more there than you may think.

We had a wonderful stay at Seawall Campground! We were in site A-31, which had a nice long driveway that was perfect for our campervan. Backing into that site was a bit challenging, but definitely do-able, and there was a little path directly from our site to the bathrooms, which was nice. (There was still enough space and trees that we had our own privacy.) The site was nice and shady in the morning, but there wasn't much shade in the main area of the site in the afternoon. The fire pit / grill were great, and there was free firewood for campers (one armful per day) over in the C-Loop. The Rangers were helpful and friendly. We have Verizon for our phones and while we could make calls with only minor issues, texts were challenging and data was non-existent.

Unfortunately, while we were there, the Island Shuttle Bus was not running to Seawall, but I can imagine that would be extremely helpful normally. We were able to easily drive to the major attractions at Acadia, and also spent some time on the "Quiet Side" visiting the Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse, spending some time across the way at Seawall, and visiting Southwest Harbor. Overall, it was a wonderful trip!
