There was no soap, paper towels, or hand dryer in the bathroom. There was a hand sanitizer dispenser that was always empty. We stayed for 5 nights and it was empty the entire time. This is disgusting and unacceptable and is endangering everyone, as we all have to touch the same door to get in and out of the bathroom. Every national parks service bathroom we used at the tourist spots (Sandy Beach, Echo Lake, etc.) had great bathrooms, but the campsite bathrooms are seriously lacking.

The campsite was nice and the cliffs overlooking the ocean down the path were stunningly gorgeous, I preferred the way the campsites were set up when I was in Smoky Mountain National Park with more total space separating you from neighboring sites but I understand there are space constraints. Overall an amazing vacation. Please fund our national parks!

I had a wonderful experience with my group, the staff were very informative about where to obtain ice, firewood, and where our campsite was. They gave us a map with our site highlighted, and gave us detailed instructions on how to get there. The bathrooms were very clean and updated. I loved this campground because it has trails/roads that lead to popular hikes that you can walk, this was very nice since the parking for the trails are limited during peak seasons. There are showers right outside of the campground entrance that are coin operated. Those facilities also have an ATM and quarter machine which was nice. There is also an abundance of places to buy firewood right outside the campground which was very convenient. The individual sights had fire rings with grills on them so you dont have to bring anything to place a skillet/kettle/griddle on. We stayed in sight A19 which was perfect for hammocks and tents and had plenty of room to park our car. I loved how thick the woods were around our campsite but we also were able to see our neighbors. I would 100% recommend this campground.

Pleasant campground, good facilities and friendly rangers (Joel gave us some awesome hiking recommendations!). Can’t wait to return!
