We really enjoyed hiking the trail to the coast straight from the campground!

I loved how central the campground is for many beautiful hikes. Some you can do without getting in your car which was great. The rangers were really kind and helpful. The only minor issue was the proximity to other campers. Some did not respect quiet hours and there didn't see any enforcement. Kids were screaming starting at 6 am daily.

This was our second time camping in Blackwoods. Both were greta eperiences. Very clean, well kept (including bathrooms), and good access to trails and short drives to other areas of interest. Staff was friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommend this campground.

This has been one of the worst campsites I have visited on my 1 month trip from Oregon. The sites are not cleaned up between guests, one of the toilets was clogged throughout my entire stay (3 days and 2 nights), there was no hand soap, no hot water, no paper towels, no showers, dirty floors. With all this lack of maintenance there were a many personnel on site. I pointed out some of the issues and none were resolved. Showers are not available and guests are not allowed to use their own personal showers. We are offered to go off site to a public shower in town! EWWWW. Many signs are posted to do this and don't do that. Do not wash dished at a restroom sink, wash dishes only at your site (that doesn't have water), but dump all water and food waste at a basin near the restroom, don't wash your dishes there though. Get water from another location near the restroom, but don't wash your dishes there. Augh! I just want to eat a salad, take a shower and go to bed. Many guests had barking dogs, loud voices, everyone is very close to each other on all sides, with the exception of in front. Then at least you have the roadway separating the sites. Very unhappy with the campground. There are many many many other camps very close to the park that a person can choose from. You do NOT have to stay in the park. There is NO benefit from doing so. Save your money, enjoy your stay, and go to a different campground.

Great Campground Facility. Short hike to the sea from the camp ground was amazing.
