Great campsite with excellent cell coverage. Close to restrooms that were maintained well. Even though the campsites are close to one another, they offer privacy as well. My wife and I arrived after hours but there were maps at the registration office to help us find our site. We enjoyed our stay and would return to this site.

I had an excellent time! A wonderful campground, and the sites aren't on top of each otherplenty of pine trees to offer some privacy. I have consumer cellular as well and surprisingly had great cell reception the whole time. I'll be sure to stay at Blackwoods next time too.

The campground was well maintained, quiet, and peaceful. I enjoyed easy access to Otter Point and related trails and to the South Rim of Cadillac Mnt trail. And its just minutes from Bar Harbor. I am very grateful that Congress figured out how to keep the federal govt running. It could not have been a better experience.

Very clean and well managed camp ground. Centrally located. Cant wait to go back

Campground was quiet and well maintained. It’s not a place to party like other campgrounds. You do need to wake up early if you want to get a parking spot at one of the popular visitor centers like Jordan Pond. It’s completely filled by 9a.
