Big trees, lovely amphitheatre and close path to the ocean. Shuttle was easy to navigate but would fill up quickly during busy times. Showers were a short drive or a 20 minute walk away. Rangers were helpful. Bathrooms were clean.

Excellent campground, as described - the adequate amount of facilities, response and perfect for family outings!Incredibly close to showers (welcome surprise!) and close proximity to gorgeous sights, trails and last but not the least, in the midst of nature!

Beautiful, scenic campground, very woodsy. A trail leads to Cadillac Mt.

Very nice campground. I do wish there were tighter restrictions on generators; ruins the peace and quiet. Also, we discovered a nice path to the ocean not shown on maps. Easy walk from campground.

The spots are a little close to each other but it's in good condition and in a nice location.

Nice sites, clean restrooms.
Didn't care for so many running generators; sounded like a parking lot at times.

Proper place in the middle of the Acadia Park, so very easy to get the must-see places by walk or bike. It is important to know that the place doesn't have showers. Moreover, the RV zone is quite disburbing by electric generators during 8-10am and 5-8pm.

The location and the proximity to the ocean, trails, and to town make it perfect for us. We have camped here for 42 years every year. Only one time when we could not get a reservation and wound up at a private campground which was nice but not the same. Love this place.
