Magnificent scenery and well kept park grounds. Disappointed by the absence of recycling and composting. Well run bus service. Would suggest a bus stop on top of Cadillac mountain.

Great spot for a quiet get away. Ideally located a short drive from Bar Harbor to get away from the chaos while still being close enough to all the attractions that you can easily check things out during the day. Campground was clean and well kept. Sites are tight if you have a large camper but make for a great spot for tents

Reduced capacity in campground made our stay even more enjoyable. Trails and trailheads were still packed with card and people.

Well the gate house staff was fairly friendly and helpful, the actual campground staff was quite the opposite. I also booked a site rated for a small camper, but it was uneven and required a severe jackknife to get the camper backed in to the site. Overall fairly disappointing experience. Between the less than satisfactory campground and the fact that every parking lot was always full I actually ended up leaving two days earlier than planned. Not impressed, will likely not return.
