Our firewood was taken from a campsite on our second and final night at the site. Otherwise no complaints!

We had a great experience at this campground. It is in a great location for exploring Acadia. It is well maintained and clean. Bathrooms were clean and well placed. My only suggestion is that Markers for the loops are small and difficult to read.

Beautiful space, well maintained campsites and restrooms. Rangers were friendly and helpful. Just be sure to bring lots of big spray, it is Maine after all!

Make sure to walk down to the ocean after sunset to view the stars. They are amazing.
Also bring quarters if you need to shower… 25c per 15seconds, with min if 7 quarters to start.

Beautiful campsites, easy walk to ocean from site, helpful rangers. My only complaint was that there was no recycling containers. Only trash bins.

Very neat and clean, well run and well maintained campground. Hard working and friendly staff. A terrific experience. We especially enjoyed the range of recreational opportunities available right from the campground, without moving our vehicle.

Site was spacious for our 2 tents and separate from other tent sites. Site was clean and well kept. Bathroom was nearby and was also clean and well kept. There were trash containers to put our limited trash in order to keep our site clean. Campground was quiet during the day and night. Campground personel were often seen during the day making rounds to ascertain that the campground was as it should be. Entering the campground registration area was quick and easy. Because of Covid the park bus service was very limited to Blackwoods campground. We took several paths from and to the campground for day hikes. This was very convenient.
