We have camped at both National Park campgrounds over the years, this was our best experience in many. The weather was perfect, the campground beautifully clean, and surprisingly quiet despite all the guests. We hiked up Cadillac from the campsite ( the trail to trail head was a bit of a slog), enjoyed biking numerous carriage trails, volunteered with the Save our Summits, and enjoyed a climb up Beehive. Teens also did some mountain climbing through Atlantic Climbing School (a perennial favorite experience). All was great except a bad experience with swarming yellow jackets at Jordan Pond. Highly recommend a visit!

Location of this campground was perfect!Clean restrooms and a short walk to the coast. Could even hear the waves crashing overnight in the tent. After 4 days of tent camping we were thankful for the paid public showers were close by. Beautiful campground!

This is a great place to stay while hiking in Arcadia National Park. The campground is wooded and the campsites have the standard picnic table and fire-ring with grill. Plenty of flat space for a tent. Our main issue with this site was that there were several RVs close by that ran generators, which disturbed our woodland solitude.

Hello, Have camped several times at Blackwoods and was impressed with how campers were spaced out. Glad I was not closer to mobile homes with the loud generators buzzing. Hope to return next year at peak leaf colors again but maybe without so much rain.
