Great campgrounds! Our campsite felt pretty private with the way we set it up and wasn't far from a bathroom which was nice. The campgrounds all stayed quiet at night, everyone was respectful and it stayed shaded and cool during the day. Would highly recommend camping here. It was a close drive for everything in Acadia/Bar Harbor too! Absolutely beautiful area! We plan to come back in the future because we loved it so much.

Blackwoods was such a nice campsite! Every tent site looked like a good one.

B-Loop: Beautiful park, but not even a little peaceful. Unfortunately, sounds echo and the cost and convenience bring in a bit of a loud and rowdy crowd. It was super close to the shore, the facilities were very clean and maintained. I just wish I could have enjoyed the atmosphere with drunken frat boys into the late hours.

Camp site was great. Quiet at night, bathrooms adequate. Shower house down the road clean and $1 per minute. We would stay here again.

We loved our stay at Blackwoods campground. For good hikers it is a great starting location for several must see locations in the park including Cadillac mountain, the sandy beach, Otter point, and Jordan pond. It was nice to be able to leave the car and avoid the parking crowds.
