everything could not have been better except for one day of rain. Too many things available to see and do for even a week in the park. Site was great for the tent but our picnic table (site B042) was not in good shape. We were sharing another site for the food and fire so no problem for us. Our family had hiking from easy to difficult with great views everywhere.

I felt so lucky to be able to get two reservations at Blackwoods just a week before going -- most sites were reserved weeks in advance, and while I was unable to get the same site two nights in succession, I was delighted to be there at all. Both tent sites were spacious, had good fire rings and tent spots, and were close enough to the bathrooms. There was good distance between campsites so there was some privacy, and I was delighted that my neighbors were quiet and respectful of each other. A terrific experience -- and it didn't rain!!!!

Great location, very close to all the big things to do in Acadia! Nice campsites, good facilities. Everyone seemed to be pretty respectful and mindful of everyone elses experience. We stayed in A loop and B loop. We liked B loop a bit better for what its worth it didnt feel quite as packed in

Check in was easy, bathrooms were clean, and the sites were awesome and private!

We had an awesome time hiking and biking through the park and getting to come home at the end of the day to our beautiful Blackwoods campsite was a highlight. The sites are situated so that you don't feel like you're right next to another person's tent and there are lots of trees that are great to use for stringing up tarps when it rains. We even woke up to the sound of ocean waves in the distance. Great experience all around!
