Camping spots were beautiful, the bathroom facilities were always clean, the range staff were friendly and informative. And theres nothing like all the sites and Acadia. Some favorite activities where the 4 mile Ridge hike up to Cadillac, and riding bikes on the carriage trail trails.

We were in the campground for only one night, so our use of the facilities was limited. However, in our limited experience, the campground is very good. The sites are large and wooded, and the campground is in an excellent location, close to trails and major features of the park.

It was great, but be warned bathrooms do not have soap, only hand sanitizer.

Visited Blackwoods CampGround 6 years in a row. The Campground offers many activities from hiking trails that lead to mountains with views of neighboring cities and breathtaking ocean views. The campgrounds also offers interpretive talks by Park Rangers 2 to 3 evenings a week. The campground is family friendly with quiet hours beginning at 10:00 PM.
