The site we had was in poor condition (serious ruts most likely due to rain runoff the week prior to our arrival). Luckily the site was oversized for the size of our RV, so we were able to use a portion which was not too bad.

Great location, bathrooms were clean, too many bugs at night though. Showers were located at the visitors center which was pretty close to our campsite. Shuttle bus was literally 5 min walk. I would definitely reserve at this campsite again as everything was pretty accessible and near to the shuttle bus, visitor center and town. Camp site was very clean and spacious, though we were not able to have a campfire due to winds but it made our stay very memorable and enjoyable. Our site had lots of shade and the bathroom and water spout was next to our site.

If you are coming to hike this is a great campground for convenience to the ark shuttle. When it is hot the lack of shade can be brutal. Consider bringing a canopy. Water shoes are sufficient for the narrows and since there are no showers at the campground a pack of wet wipes will keep you feeling fresh. Also the Hoodoo grocery store a short drive outside of the park is a great spot for some hand dipped ice cream. I recommend the Double Chocolate Brownie. Angel’s landing is a beast. If you are afraid of heights don’t do it. If you can handle heights it will be one of the most memorable hikes of your life. Get on the shuttle around 6am. Walking up without other foot traffic coming down is a luxury of staying in the campground and getting on one of the first shuttles. Enjoy and stay safe 🥾⛺️⛰🤯💕

Nice campground. May or may not be level depending on your site. Good cell signal (Verizon). Close to the Watchmen Trail and the visitor center. Deer almost everyday/night.
