An easily accessible place, the rangers were kind, the area was clean and quiet. There are water outlets on several sites for your campervans.

this location (73) has no tree ( only a dead one) , thus no shade. Furthermore not located next to the river, contrary to what the map indicates, unlike the two other spots on either side of this one.

Beautiful campground along a nice paved hiking trail, and a short walk into the village for shops, outfitters and brew pub. Campsites are large and nicely equipped with a fire ring and picnic table.
I loved that most campers were in tents. It makes it a much more relaxed and natural experience that campgrounds where people are in large RV's where most of what you see from your campsite is aluminum siding.
The only downside is no showers. I was there in summer and would have been happy with an outdoor shower with water straight from the tap.
Would definitely visit here again.

Too busy and noisy. No one was enforcing the quiet hours. Otherwise it was a nice stay. Watchman is better though.

Just loved this campground high rates for its convenance, decent bathrooms non potable water, I loved being by the bicycle path and watching everyone go by and nightly visits by local deer. Wonderful backdrop of the mountains and next to the river. Only negatives not much privacy very open spots and not very much shade luckily I was there in fall and sat in a shadier open spot for a bit. Would def stay again!

The south campground is a perfect place to stay to maximize time in the park and to have an amazing place to sleep!
