Nice campground but the section they aren’t using says closed for improvements which seems to be a joke. The closed section is just as nice as the open section, second it would be nice if they had generator sound level regulations rather than two hour windows to operate, it can get very hot during the day and night without electric and without a generator being able to run. I suggest y’all change the generator rule and just mandate a decibel requirement.

This site is great. Not too far off from the restrooms and it provides a bit of natural shade.

Flushing toilets, very clean bathrooms. Decent sized spots, but not a lot of tree coverage though its right in the middle of the canyon so some sun coverage. Ground is VERY hard, not suitable for non freestanding tents unless you can find a good spot in your campsite, mostly very hard rock. Good signal, VERY convenient location, 5-10 minute walk to shuttles, awesome beautiful spot, only negative is the hard ground making spikes difficult which becomes a problem at night when it becomes INCREDIBLY windy. Bring a mallet or nail spikes for tents.

We were there for 2 nights and 3 days. I never saw the camp host. Hope the person is not getting paid.

Beautiful scenery right inside the park with easy access to shuttles into Zion and a quick walk into town. Campgrounds was well spaced, clean and generally pretty quiet! Would definitely try to stay here again.

The view from inside the canyon was stunning. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. The campground was clean and spacious with fire pits and a picnic table at every space. Bathrooms were clean and maintained. We felt glad to get a reservation as it was pretty competitive. We were also able to get shuttle reservations each day that we needed them. And of course Zion is beautiful. The only bummer is that the ranger at check in sold my husband a pass to take our RV through the tunnel on the way to Bryce when we checked in. It’s a 7 day pass and we were able to use it 4 days later on our way to Bryce, but it had already expired by our return trip. If we’d bought it when we first used it, we’d have been able to use it both ways. Seems a strange thing to offer when people check in and are obviously not on the way to Bryce yet.
