Peaceful, close to nature, convenient to the shuttles, inexpensive. I've enjoyed camping there many times. The sky at night is wonderful.

First and foremost: consider bringing some form of transport for the site - scooter, skateboard, roller blades, bicycle, etc. This campsite has a gradual slope which is ideal for all ages to enjoy a nice view while simultaneously experiencing the joy of gravity. Furthermore, shuttle passes were not easy to obtain if you try and purchase them the day before at 5:00 PM. Our group had 5 people searching immediately after 5:00 PM and only 1 person was lucky enough to purchase before they sold out. Instead of this uncertainty I recommend purchasing the tickets when they release 1 month prior to your reserved date.

Our group stayed at site #69 and had an unobstructed view of Bridge Mountain. Consider bringing a nice camera for golden hour as this was a breathtaking view which never lost its magnificence. This campsite is also directly connected to the Pa'rus trail which allowed us easy access to the Virgin River and the shuttle buses (5 min. walk). A concern by one of our group mates was that there was 'no privacy', so maybe bring an insulated drink holder and some red cups to prevent corrupting the youth.

Deer were very commonly seen at this site. During the evenings there were at least 11 deer grazing less than 10 feet from our campsite alone. It's crucial to throw away any garbage when leaving the campsites. Rumors of squirrels biting through tent fabric are frequently heard. While my eyes were peeled for Desert bighorn they were very elusive and went without notice during our 3 night stay.

Highly recommend Zion National Park for those who have not visited.
