Such a GREAT place to stay. Will most definitely be back, very easy to find and easy set up. Bathrooms are close by and the stars at night are amazing. We had great neighbors and everyone was respectful in the early mornings as we all packed up to go and explore Zion!

Great location with beautiful views and in walking distance to the free park shuttles. Would recommend this campsite and plan on reserving here again in the future. It's nice to be able to reserve the campsite less than 2 weeks in advance and use Watchman for reserving more than 2 weeks in advance - seems like a fair balance for the planners/returnees versus the spontaneous/newcomers.

I loved staying there. It was so beautiful, but crowded. I was by myself, so it was good for me, but if you like camping in a wild, definitely is not the place to go

Just at the base of the more notable park features and boarding the Virgin River and Pa’rus trail, these campsites were amazing. We only had time to stay one night, a night to leave us wishing for more. It’d be wise to bring a mallet for your tent stakes, makes things much easier. There are bathroom amenities in South Campground but no shower facilities or areas to wash dishes, not that we could find.

Excellent experience camping here! The views were amazing and the location inside the park made it convenient for the shuttle and hiking/biking trail. Plenty of easy access, clean bathrooms. There were really nice pay showers at Zion Outfitters for 4$. I stayed 5 nights and loved it!

The ranger on duty was BY FAR the rudest, most condescending and inefficient person working a campsite EVER!!! I had reservations for 2 nights and he expected us to tear down camp, and put everything in our car before check-out time...only to return at check-in time to check in again for our 2nd consecutive night!!?! I camp all over the US every year and I will never return only to ensure I never have to deal with that man again. He was so extremely rude to every person in line, and every person who attempted to drive into camp.

We love that you can still get reservations at Zion NP but don't have to do it 6 months in advance! South campground is a touch more primitive but we don't mind a bit.
