Great campground. Very conveniently located - less than a 5 minute walk to the visitor centre. Staff was super friendly.

South campground is in a great area of Zion NP. It's just a few minute walk on the trail to get to the buses and village. Would recommend anytime.

Great small campground. Restrooms where very clean and host very friendly. The road getting there was a bit of a challenge. Don't recommend a large trailer. Over looks Fruita, CO. and surrounding area. Great view of the stars.

Reserving a site by the river was so nice. Love love love the staff, so friendly, and everyone at the campground was so respectful.

South Campground in Zion is beautiful, with mountain views in every direction. Quite time at the campground is form 10pm to 8am, and it is very quiet, with exception to the Virgin River, that you can hear from most campsite. We will be back.

I have camped in Zion several times. This is a campground I recommend if you really want an outdoor experience. Depending on which lot you choose you can sleep fairly close to the river. There is also plenty of wild-life around you and say the least the amount of stars you can see at night. Wish they allowed hammocks.

Great spot! Close to visitor center to get shuttles, close to Paria Trail for biking. We managed to pick the one site that was nearly impossible to back a teardrop trailer into(#81) but otherwise all good.

The tent site was great for my truck and roof top tent. The provided bathrooms were adequate and the site was about a 1/2 mile away from the shuttle. Would highly recommend to anyone to achieve the full Zion experience!

Zion is a fantastic park for visitors of all ages and hiking experience levels. I have camped at South Campground several times and it seems to me to be better than Watchman Campground because of its location and proximity to the Virgin River.
