Super friendly and knowledgeable camp hosts. Clean campsites and restrooms.Bring your own bikes for more fun and flexibility in seeing sites.

This site was spacious for my family of 5. If you take a short walk towards the Merced River, you will have excellent views of Upper Yosemite Falls. Downside(s): the proximity to the restrooms for kids is a little far. There were flash flood warnings and hail storms during our time here so we didnt get to maximize our time/dates here like we planned.

We love North Pines, love Yosemite. Unfortunately getting reservations is almost impossible. We met campers who use boys to secure their campsites. Really disheartening.

Campsite was great, but campers next to me parked on their site but set up their tents on our site. Also found out the hard way that because of road construction in the valley, campers in the valley had to walk 2-5 miles each time they wanted to go somewhere using the shuttle bus

We love Yosemite and have stayed in North Pines several times over the years. Well, the years we are able to get a site because it's just so popular. The roads are tight and its not ideal for motorhomes. This year we had a particularly notable trip thanks to camp host David Coe. Normally all the hosts are helpful but David just seemed to go above and beyond. After telling him about our hiking plans he came to our camp site to give us some critical information about the status of the hiking trails as a portion of the John Muir trail was closed for repairs and we didn't know that before we arrived. Then on our last night he graciously helped me get firewood and even chopped some of it for us. Thank you David!

The location is beautiful- close to Mirror Lake and Happy Isle and Curry Village. It's great to watch the alpenglow on Half Dome each night. Bring hand soap for the bathrooms. Don't expect privacy and bring earplugs if you are tenting.

It's a campground, running water toilets and sinks, no showers.

Very convenient location right in the valley; no silence at night at all. Would stay again and recommend - good amenities. Reception was spotty, but overall good for the area.
