I stayed at site 405 North Pines which had ample room--there was green space one side and an adjacent camp site on the other. There was a path behind me that led to the restrooms. The Merced River was close by--I could hear and see it. Best of all about a 100 feet away there was a trail that was about 2.3 miles from Yosemite Falls with the option of stopping at Yosemite Village on your way to the Falls.

Ok seriously if you come to Yosemite stay to Upper pines or don’t come. North pines is small and not great. They even turned off the water while we were there. Honestly your better off staying outside the park. I strongly recommend no one ever stays at the north pines campground, ever.
