Loved the fact that we were able to pull right into our site and setup camp. The sites are super close to each other, but behind your site your space opens up and you have more room around the firepit and picnic table. The bathrooms were in close proximity, that was a plus. We hiked Yosemite Falls up to Eagle Peak. It was beautiful but a hard hike. Had a wonderful time, the only way to stay in Yosemite is to camp in the Valley!

After staying at all three Pines campgrounds, I can say that North Pines is my favorite by far. I found it to provide the most shade coverage of the three and its small which I prefer. The camp hosts are all lovely, but I had the most interaction with the ones at North Pines because thats the campground I stayed at most during our trip. The first day I inquired about dog boarding since the Yosemite kennels are closed for 2022. The camp host wasnt sure on the spot, but said he would look into it. I went and began setting up our site and a few minutes later he walked up to our site and handed us a note with boarding options. He had gone to his cabin and searched online for us and personally came to our site to let us know. It was really helpful, especially since cell signal is hard to come by in the Valley.
