Loved the campground! Site was meh. Campsite behind me had picnic table and fire ring literally within 5 of the back of my 23 RV, which is where my bed is. Literally walked around the rear of my RV to put my bike on my bike rack and felt like I was standing in the neighbors site as they ate dinner and vice versa. Very level site and shaded, which was nice. Easy to back into. Love that campground is on the river. Since our picnic table was about a dozen feet from our neighbors gathered around their fire ring, we took our dinner down to the river to eat. Bathroom was close by and clean.

Great to be in the Valley but the Lower Pines had better views.

The only reason to give one less star is for the size of campsite, which is a general problem with campgrounds in Yosemite Valley. Our site (#135) at least has a spacious driveway. Surprised to see the new dump station at better location.

We were fortunate to win the North Pines lottery and secured a spot here for Labor Day weekend. We had site 135, which was an odd site located on a corner where three separate sites converged into a space the size of what felt like a single spot. This corner area would be great for a family wanting to spend the weekend together, but would probably not be preferred by someone looking for a quiet, private time at their campsite. There are other areas in the campground that offer a little more space.

As you will note in the allowable equipment, this site is too small for a tent. It worked well for our campervan but even then it was so tight with our neighbors at first I couldn't tell which picnic table was ours. It was level, shady and close to bathroom. No cell service with Verizon or AT&T. Not a favorite site but it is Yosemite after all and you do have a nice little glimpse of Yosemite falls.

lovely campground. generator of the next door RV was loud. The rule is to stop at 7pm; seems like earlier (before dinnertime) would be nicer for all.
