Site 109 in North Pines Campground abuts the Merced River, a pleasant view and plenty of space with only two neighbors. You have shared access to the shore of the river and could easily get in and out of the water if you wanted to wade. Nice views of the granite wall from some spots in the campsite. Bathroom is right across the way.Easy in and out, well marked and identified. Shuttle access to the rest of the park was just across the bridge from the campground entrance, which was fantasticThe only cons are, it is right across from the bathrooms and bear-proof receptacles. And it's close enough to the entrance that all vehicles entering or exiting the campground pass by, but that didn't seem to be an issue with noise for me.

Site 109, 22' trailer. Perfect campsite! Gorgeous spot on the river. Even though there was construction at the shuttle stop nearby, it was an easy walk to Curry Village to pick up the shuttle there. We recommend the valley floor tram tour; Ranger Karla was great! All the rangers we had interactions with were so helpful and attentive! They gave great recommendations and thorough directions to the sites we wanted to see. We also recommend the breakfast buffet at the Ahwahnee! It was a treat!

Had an incredible time, the waterfalls were raging after a record winter snowfall. Love every visit to this great place! Looking forward to my next visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at North Pines. Site 109 had a beautiful view of Half Dome and it was right next to the Merced River. There was lots of space between us and other campers. Bathrooms were just across the road. Would definitely recommend this campground to anyone looking to stay in Yosemite.

Very well-run facility. Campsites in all Yosemite Valley are close together, so do not expect privacy. Also, the wood burning for fires makes the air quality very, very smoky in the evnings.

The campground was so quiet at night. The hosts for check in were very friendly and informative. I arrived during the reservation period and having the campground at 70% was golden. Make sure to bring your bike or try out the new bike share.

Always great to stay inside the park. Had a view of half dome on one side and of the river on the other.

North Pine campground is our family favorite campsite in Yosemite. It is very spacious and lots of trees to create shady areas. We particular like those campsites along the river and have a view of Half Dome. Overall we like North Pine campsite the most.
